I saw your interview on "Koffee with Karan" yesterday, not sure how current it was but I was impressed with your replies and thought of knowing more about you thru google.
Was great to see an Indian MP having her own web site with all information about her vision and extensive opportunities for people to interact with you. Thanks for doing it. I can now say I know at least one politician who wants to interact directly with the like minded people. Not sure how your actions are with respect to your words but I wish they are louder and they are heard by other politcians in India who seem to be very annoying to me right now.
Let me introduce myself. I am a 38 year old IT Professional, working with Intel Corporation as a Program Manager in California, USA. For last 3 years, I have been bologging on http://chajjiblogs.sulekha.com or http://o3.indiatimes.com/shiveshks or http://o3.indiatimes.com/roi .
One suggestion for you-Can you get together with some like minded young MP and create a forum on world wide web which enables Indian youth, professionals and people outside India to interact with you you guys? I have huge interest in Indian politics but somehow, it seems to be going in a bad direction. But I see a light of end of this dark tunnel when I see politicians such as you, Rahul Gandhi and others.
Not sure if you get this email or not but let me tell you just writing this email has made me more confident about future of Indian polity and thanks for being one of the causes!

MUMBAI TERROR.
Hi Priya,
I have been listening you on 93.5 Red FM together with Malishka and wish to appreciate both of yours efforts in taking up the security issue which has time and again lapsed. I second you and feel for sure you will represent us ( the younger generation). I am confident of this to the core, coz i know you have the blood of Mr.Sunil Duttji, who was a great soul and who touched the hearts of millions of people and helping them in their problems and concerns. I alongwith my friends group ( we are over 12 of us) strongly feel and offer our services, wherever required and during our spare time in the betterment to our society.
We only hope with time, even the valued efforts of you and malishka do not go to the attic. As it usually happens, when a incidence takes place, it becomes a topic of discussion for few months and then it slithers.
Each one of us is responsible for the corruption that is rampant in our society. For every activity, to try to achieve using shortcut, giving way for corruption and compromises. But looking at the other point of view, compromises and corruption takes place, because the officials are corrupt so the common man is left with no choice but to give in. Had the systems been in place, why would a person in a Mercedes or a common man on the road hesitate to fight back for his rights. He needs the assurance that if he revolts back, will his purpose be resolved. NO. Today we do not have this confidence. We only talk of assurances but in reality, there are only lapses at every stage. If this is a slow process, ( which I agree) and everything cannot be changed overnight, but then do we all have time or patience to go thru the turmoil till things are set in place. The best way to do is, have a forum every alternate week or every month, where everything is openly discussed and the corrupt are brought to books and action initiated then and there. There should be no room for taking the case to court and getting a stay, which is what happens in most of the times / cases.
In the terror case, apart from the security lapse ( which is a serious issue), we feel there have been high handed officials / people in power, who would have helped in this happening or else for a FRIENDLY CITY AS MUMBAI, and which proclaims of high security post the innumerable blasts that have been tormenting the common man, get into Mumbai and freely ransom its citizen. Pakistan has the audacity to challenge us to prove that Pakistan’s Hand is involved, whereas everyone in the world knows the TRUTH !

Mumbai Blast
I felt that the situation in our country is right now arise due to negligence of we and the leader we choose. It is their duty to run the country but they are busy in DIRTY POLITICS. It is high time to change this and act fast.
