Cleanliness - Subarban Rail Travel
Best wishes, hope you win will this 15th round of Parliament election with much better margins.
With all odds, as a people representation for the first time, I am glad you have done well. I hope in the coming new parliament you will take up the unfulfilled works of our constituency with accelerated pace. The suburban region you represent is also where I reside.
Basically the region overall lacks cleanliness and haphazard growth. Though, Municipal Corporation strives to fulfill, it has in the recent decade become dead old to execute cleanliness programs to keep the city clean. The Open spaces are fast disappearing, the load of land is so much that movement of people has become even more difficult.
We often read and hear BEST buses colliding with young school children while crossing the road, or some who is in hurry to reach his designation meets with heavy casualty. The alarming rise in these of accidents is cause of great concern. Traffic rules have to be followed adherently and public transport be promoted to avoid casualties.
The shrinking of space in our vicinity is cause of concern and practical efforts needs to be taken to prevent further choking of open space, the young, youth and old have practically less or no place left to play or stroll safely let alone having some fresh breath outside the house. The city needs to be expanded.
You representatives need to take unanimous decisions to pull city out of this mess before the city completely loses it pride. I strongly desire, will to see, you as representatives are determined, irrespective of party affiliates, representatives for the citizen wellbeing.
Why not I feel the elected representatives, take a solemn oath together at a Public gathering, that the decisions you formulate will be for betterment and growth of the city and citizen, this before entering the Parliament.
Irrespective of the state and local Administrative steps being taken for the welfare, the MPs should setup a coordinated committee for all the 24 wards of the city to pursue for better and best solutions in Cleanliness, Health of poor, Traffic congestion, Slum mushrooming, and Better education for weaker section in schools with Vocational approach.
The committees pursuing these burning issues can bring in a semblance to the city life, as you all are so called seniors in the ladder of people representations in democracy. I at times fear as to where is the city is heading to right now.
The vast majority teaming population use local trains for their daily transport,
Dear Madam, regret of late the cleanliness in Suburban Local Trains has gone from bad to the next ranking. We see train compartments have become sore with dust and waste and dirt unclean be in for travel. I travel by train daily from Bandra to Belapur, work in a IT company, with odd office hours, 6 pm to 3.30 am. Back home, I board Belapur early morning train by 3.49 am or 4.04 am or the early initial trains, these trains starts actually its maiden journey for the Railway Yard and enter into the platform. The sight of unclean trains here becomes more pronouncing, even when it is the very first round of departures from the yard. I fail to understand why it so?
The day travel in train is though not good but one can often find the same unhygienic travel. With very little commuters or sometime alone early morning travel by train, I often wonder while traveling how my fellow citizen would react the morning dawns upon them for travel. Such is the plight of the Suburban Railways and its Housekeeping.
Nevertheless, I gathered myself to put it across, as you would also agree, the unheard poor commuters, are not ill-treated or forgotten.
With your attention and action to bringing into notice of the same to the Suburban Rail Authority higher ups for their prompt attention and actions will makes more sense and difference.
I count upon you for this just expectation of commuters for clean and hygienic basic necessities while travel in local trains compartments is met and monitored relentlessly by the Suburban railway Authorities.

Water problem in Santacruz
Hello Priya,
If you remember, you had come campaigning in Santacruz (W) area on Sunday.
We had complained of the Water problem. The water in our colony (TPS 6, Road No 1) has been very dirty and smelly for the past 2 months. Nothing has happened inspite of repeated complaints to BMC.
You promised that you will follow up and get it resolved.
Thanking you in anticipation. Please reslolve the problem urgently. There are many people in the area getting affected.
Regards,
Mayur

How do i become part of the party
Dear Ms. Priya
I am a resident of Raheja Vihar,Powai and come under chandivlli. I wanted to be associated with work which will help me reach out to people. I also want to be part of any campaign work that you are planning in this area. People by and large have lot of issues here like road and infrastructure. They are also tired of trying out to get their names in the voter list. I also stood in que for couple of hours to submit my documents. I am lucky that both me and my wife's name has come but unfortunately with lot of spelling mistakes.
I must also say that your office was very helpful in confirming that my name is in the list. Mr. Samir took the names and reverted well in time with the details. None of the website could help me with the same.
Thanks and Wish you all the very best

Suggestions
Der Priyaji,
It would be advisable to upload your daily programme of visits in different assembly constituencies or blocks or wards sothat Congress Party leaders and members may attend such programme if they know of such programmes from this website.
